I am a podcast junkie. Whenever I have headphones on, chances are high I have a podcast playing. Because my love of podcasts runs so deep, one of my goals for 2016 is to be interviewed on a podcast. (So, if you are looking for a guest, just let me know!)
I’ve put together a list of 8 Inspiring Podcasts for Creatives that will help get your juices flowing and your business together.
The Lively Show
I’ve been a Jess Lively fan for years, so I was so excited when she launched a podcast two years ago. Jess’s podcast is not just a business podcasts. She interviews inspiring people on a variety of topics like simplifying, food, money and more. The Lively Show has an episode for everyone.
One Part Podcast
I first learned of the One Part Podcast when Jessica Murnane was interviewed on The Lively Show. Jessica is real and I love that about her. One Part Plant is a conversation with amazing individuals covering topics ranging from wellness to music to food to fashion and design.
Creating Your Own Path
Jennifer Snyder and I have been online friends for a few years now and I’ve loved watching her podcast grow. In 2015 she even took a cross country road trip to interview creatives in their cities. Jen has an impressive array of guests from a wide range of creative fields.
Jen Hatzung and Danielle Spruge are two besties who have bonded over their love of coffee and sharing their guest’s versions of success. One of the many things I like about this podcast is they ask all of their guests the same questions, which most podcasts don’t do. Their signature questions is “What is your version of success?” Because they ask all of their guests that, my definition is always evolving and changing.

Elise Gets Crafty
Elise has been blogging for over 10 years and has started numerous small businesses (like my favorite planner, Get To Work Book). She started her podcast in 2014 because she couldn’t find one that spoke to bloggers and small business owners. Elise’s honesty is refreshing – she doesn’t know it all and doesn’t plan to. Her and her guests discuss business, blogging and creativity.
If you are planning to start a small business or already do – this podcast is a must listen. The podcast hosts and small business owners, Kathleen Shannon and Emily Thompson, tell it like it is. They give you the hard facts about being a business owners, but great advice to help you make it there.
Online Marketing Made Easy with Amy Porterfield
I recently started listening to Amy’s podcast and let me tell you, she is a marketing genius. She and her guests chat about social media, lead funnels, copywriting, newsletters and more. Even better, her show is interesting and digestible. Plus, she always has a great freebie download to go with each episode.
Social Media Marketing Podcast
Want to be up on the latest social media trends? Than don’t miss the Social Media Marketing Podcast with Michael Stelzner. Michael is the founder of Social Media Examiner, the go-to source for all things social media.
I know there are so many great podcasts out there, it can be hard to listen to all of them. I highly recommend you listen to my favorite episodes for a taste of these podcasts. What’s your favorite creative podcast?
